Let’s have a baby today!! 🙏🏻 Butterscotch is so over the summer heat. But baby signs are on the horizon 🙌 a storm could possibly happen so let’s hope that barometric pressure change sends her into labor!! 🐮

‼️ It’s been a while…mentally I’ve been drained. Physically I’ve been powering through but when the mental load is too heavy then the physical part doesn’t want to happen. A few updates….
Butterscotch is STILL pregnant! I swear that cow feels like she’s been pregnant forever with a miscarriage early on a year ago but then re bred and due any day at this point. Please pray for a live healthy calf! This beautiful sweet gal deserves to be a Momma!
Flynn Ryder and Moooana will be vet inspected tomorrow and packing their bags for TN next week. 🥹 they love being brushed and are both warming up. Halter training is slower but trying to get there this week.
Maximus went to a new breeding home, so we are currently without a bull. That was my decision because I need a big break like yesterday and halting year round breeding for the cows that are never synced in heat is the way I want to go.
Beautiful Daisy also went to a new home. She was my only registered gal and it was time to send her packing to fund a better cattle chute (still researching options).
My sweet 8 yr old Boxer Wrigley met a sudden demise with a stroke that came on abruptly and killed him within 8 hours. That was a tough one and I’m still mentally not ok.
Where there is life, death is present.
We have had months of broody hens and I finally gave in and am letting one sit on a clutch. 2 roosters in our hen house so some are bound to hatch….maybe 🤷♀️.
TINKERBELL, the youngest calf is growing and thriving and oh so cute! She may actually be a keeper but I’ll determine that at weaning (have I mentioned how much I dislike weaning?) that’s a stressor all in itself. 🤪
Pippa the princess corgi is growing up! 7 months and 20 pounds, she enjoys herding our Australian shepherd mix and my youngest kids 😆 true herding breed right there!
I’ll try to be more present with the farm page but this is a busy season and the busiest turn of our lives! 🫶

Horton will be looking for a new herd of ladies to join! He’s a registered myotonic fainting goat, proven, with several kids over the last four years born here. He’s for the best personality, very friendly. He was disbudded so he is not polled.
Looking for his new 🏠! Asking 3 🥕 🥕.
