So... this just happened 🥹

I knew I was nominated, but I never thought I'd win. I couldn't go to the banquet because I had to be at the restaurant. Thanks to my dear sweet friend Susan Maynard Hatfield for bringing the plaque to me. I had just gotten home from closing the store, and she let me stand there in my driveway, in my pajamas, and cry. 🥹

I don't know who else was nominated but I know I'm in very good company. Please support your local small businesses.

I'm so tired, and truly have worked so hard. To be honest, I'm exhausted, so this is a testament to all that hard work. When I started my little business over a year ago I never in all my dreams expected the support and encouragement and love that has been poured into me by this little community, and all the people I know and love. Family, friends, colleagues, and even people I don't even know, have cheered me on. I am, truly, overwhelmed by it. I'm just an ordinary person, doing what I do. I can only say, thank God.

I've tried to make a video but I'm so emotional right now I'm a blubbering sobbing mess so this post will have to do. Thank you to every single person who has played even the smallest part in my success. Thank you Berea Chamber of Commerce. Thank you Berea ❤️

Tomorrow is Small Business Saturday. Please go out and spend some money at local businesses like mine, and help kick start our holiday season.

Bluegrass Kitchen will be open Wednesday from 11-2. We will NOT have a 5-8 service on Wednesday. We will be closed on Thursday so we can spend the day with our families for Thanksgiving 🦃 We will reopen at regular hours on Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Sunday.
