Meet 👋🏼 Brian
Owner of Beaver State Contracting
🗣️I love being outdoors. I love the fresh air and beautiful views. When it's nice out the last place you will find me is indoors. I am an avid outdoor enthusiast. I ski, hike, hunt and fish. I pride myself as being a mindful steward of the outdoors.
We asked Brian "How did I get started?"
🗣️I got started in the industry when I was in college. I was attending and decided to stay in Corvallis. I needed some summer work and ended up on a roofing crew. I liked the guys and liked the work. After graduating OSU I used my degree to get work in my field of study, I ended up at a desk in an office and didn't enjoy it. I went back outside and have stuck with it and enjoyed it ever since.
We also asked him "What sets you apart from others in the area?"
🗣️I was born and raised in Bend. I graduated from Bend High in 1993. My family has long time roots in Bend, my Grandma was born here in 1925. I feel a real sense of community and a belonging to Bend. I enjoy being part of the change and progression of the area. I have adapted my practices to follow industry standards with new codes and overall changes of the installation process. I do the majority of the installation on my projects so I know it's done right the first time every time.
Finally we wanted to know "What advice do you have for homeowners?"
🗣️Physically look at some of the projects the contractor has done. Quality is most important. Cheap doesn't suffice in our ever changing climate and tremendous temperature swings throughout the day. Quality always wins out.
