In putting together the design of this dining room concept, my goal was to create a calm, grounded atmosphere layered with subtle warmth, while introducing a pop of energy through art, lighting, and seating. The oversized black-and-white artwork anchors the space with bold expression, complemented by the quiet elegance of herringbone floors, upholstered chairs, and the rich yet soft Cinnebar Limewash by Bauwerk, with its terracotta base and blush-pink overtone.
After exploring over 25 lighting and chair combinations, including striking black-and-white striped upholstery, I landed on this pairing for its balance of refinement and vibrancy. Everything nicely framed - wood above, wood below!

I’m about to start an exciting new design project featuring my absolute favorite style: European Glam—curated and eclectic. I was thrilled beyond words when I saw the client’s inspiration board. It’s everything I love and have been eager to create!
While Pinterest, Instagram, and the web are fantastic resources, Ai has truly revolutionized the way we conceptualize designs. These Ai renders really help to test out ideas in ways never before possible, even though Ai can sometimes create quirky elements in the images. Still, the overall vibe is spot-on and so inspiring.
This has me itching to revamp my own home now—time for a transformation!
