Three mini albums in two weeks! 😅

When I made the first one back in May, I had no idea how much fun they would be. Each one is so unique and fits any occasion. So far, we’ve commemorated birthdays, an anniversary, and a going-away gift!

Since each one is so custom and personalized, I’ve started hand making more of the embellishments, as well. Thanks to Art and Happiness for supplying the paper to make these cute little pockets!

I mentioned before how I was a little nervous about the future of my business when the shutdowns began. But y’all... this has been my busiest couple of months yet!⁣

I can hardly believe how much new work is coming in and I’m soooo incredibly grateful, ecstatic, amazed, etc! 😍🤩🥰⁣

I’m trying to keep this page updated with shots of works in progress, but between the ten albums (yes, ten!) in my queue and the summer sun calling my name, my attention is elsewhere most of the time.⁣

But I wanted to pop in and say hi, remind you to stay healthy, enjoy the sun, vote in your local elections, and keep living your best life. 😘 Now back to my current mini album project!

It’s always a little bittersweet completing an album.⁣

I spend so much time puzzle-piecing them together that I feel really connected with my work by the end.⁣

Once I ship one off, I have so much anxiety hoping it’ll arrive safely and look as good as it did when I packed it.⁣

I’m still blown away by just how unique each album turns out and I’m grateful for all the wonderful clients I get to share my craft with. The chaos of the month of March set me back a bit, but this was an opportunity to focus solely on growing my business.⁣

Last month, the work started to pay off as I booked more clients in a single month than ever before. So thank you thank you thank you for all the support! ❤️❤️❤️

Three more mini albums in the making! I’m still amazed by how many memories can fill such a small album.⁣

Being at home the past 3 months has helped me take stock of what’s most important in my life. I’ve learned that I have too much stuff that I never use, especially clothing.⁣

I’ve also learned from going through old photo albums which types of photos spark the best memories. For me, it’s the active photos. Ones where we’re actually doing stuff! Playing games, hiking, making silly faces in a blanket fort... smiling selfies and posed portraits have their place, but these photos reminded me that I’m the happiest when I’m sharing experiences with other people.⁣

Do you take more posed pictures or candid shots? 📸
