An early morning start—2 AM!—to see the sunrise at Cadillac Mountain, the first spot on the East Coast to see the sun in the morning. 🌅

We finally made it to Maine! We’re in Eastport, the easternmost city in the U.S. and home of 20’ tides. It’s been on our list from the very beginning and we made it just in time to celebrate our one year vanniversary! 🦞🧈🥖🌊

Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument caught our eye when we looked at maps earlier in our trip. A hidden gem outside Las Cruces, New Mexico, we had a wonderful time exploring the peaks, dodging cacti, and meeting new friends at our BLM campsite.
