This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave service members who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten.

Last week, REDI had the opportunity to meet at the Port Arthur International Seafarers' Center, hosted by the Port of Port Arthur.

The Seafarer’s Center serves as an important reminder that economic development is not just about infrastructure and investment — it’s also about people. From port activity to workforce support services, every component plays a role in strengthening Southeast Texas’ economic ecosystem.

We appreciate the Port of Port Arthur for hosting our Regional Economic Development Initiative meeting and for their continued leadership in advancing regional collaboration and global commerce.
