A Resident of Beaumont was killed Sunday evening around 6:44 pm, he was struck by a vehicle while walking on the busy 10 freeway.

The Beaumont man identified as Juan Duran was last seen in Beaumont, Duran suffered from dementia and became a critical missing adult out of the city of Beaumont around 3 PM.

The drivers of the vehicle which struck Mr. Duran did stop and cooperate with CHP investigators.

At the time of the incident the connection between the missing person and the pedestrian weren't connected until Beaumont Police officials began inquiring to CHP investigators while they were at the scene of the incident.
