A few years ago, I left Germany and started a completely new chapter in Texas.

This video reminded me once again why I love real food. 😅🍓
Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but I like foods that don’t come with an instruction manual.
My breakfast today:
✔ Oatmeal
✔ Strawberries
That’s it.
The strawberries were even kind enough to taste like strawberries all by themselves — no “natural flavor” needed. 🍓😂
Meanwhile, the instant oatmeal contains things like:
• Sugar as the second ingredient
• “Natural flavor” (without further explanation)
• Milk powder and dried cream
• Oats that, when not organically grown, may contain herbicide residues such as glyphosate
Sometimes processed foods seem like the easier option. But often, the simple solution is the better one:
Oatmeal + fresh strawberries.
Tastes better.
Provides more real nutrients.
You know exactly what’s in it.
And at the end of the day, it’s often even cheaper.
Keep it simple instead of complicated — you can only win. ❤️🍓🥣

Transparency is more than just a word to me — it is an essential part of my philosophy.
I personally believe it is important to know what is in the food we eat. That is why I place great value on openness and honesty when it comes to the products I make.
Although Texas Cottage Food Law does not require full ingredient labeling like commercially manufactured foods, I have consciously chosen to disclose my ingredients. I believe my customers deserve to know exactly what they are buying and enjoying.
Inspired by my European roots and my passion for traditional foods, I pay close attention to the quality and selection of every ingredient I use. I consistently avoid artificial colors and preservatives and carefully consider every ingredient that finds its way into my products. Whenever possible, I choose ingredients that align with the standards and food traditions I grew up with and continue to value today.
To me, good food is about more than just great taste — it is also about trust. That is why my products are made from scratch using carefully selected ingredients, traditional methods, and no unnecessary shortcuts.
I believe transparency should not be the exception; it should be the standard. That is why I openly share the ingredients I use and the reasons I choose them.
