This is Warrick Dunn. His mother worked as a police officer in Baton Rouge, but when Warrick was still in high school, she was shot while on duty and passed away. Losing her at such a young age was devastating, yet instead of giving up, Warrick stepped into her role at home.

He became the one responsible for raising his five younger siblings, all while balancing school and later college. Against all odds, he pushed forward and eventually made it to the NFL. But his story didn’t stop with football success.

Warrick chose to use his earnings to give back, pouring millions of dollars into building and paying for more than 145 homes for single mothers. His goal was simple but powerful... help families like his own find stability, comfort, and a better life.
