Please keep the Taillon family in your prayers. What an amazing man who supported The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for over 15 years by organizing the Swamp Pop Music Festival's JFA Jambalaya Cook Off. He worked so hard to ensure the success of the cook off and our festival helping to raise over a million dollars over the history of the festival. Rest Easy, Mr. Wally. You will be missed.

On June 23 at 7 p.m. ET, Black adults with CF, as well as parents and caregivers of Black children with CF, are invited to talk openly with peers about shared experiences like misdiagnosis, delays in treatment, self-advocacy in medical settings, and navigating life with CF.

The “65 Roses” story began in 1965 when a 4-year-old, hearing the name of his disease for the first time, pronounced cystic fibrosis as “65 Roses.” Today, it’s a term many children with CF still use to describe their disease. But making the disease easier to say doesn’t make it easier to live with.
