Another absolute rager at The Rack BBQ Saturday night!! šŸ”„šŸŽø

Pics and video soon!

That crowd was on another level…singing every word, bringing the energy from the first note to the last. We swear you could hear us all the way down in Kingfield, and honestly, we wouldn’t be surprised if you could feel it halfway up the mountain too ā›°ļø

You all showed up, showed out, and made it one of those nights we won’t forget anytime soon. That’s what it’s all about right there.

Huge shoutout to the incredible crew at The Rack for being top-tier hosts as always—taking care of us, keeping the drinks flowing, and making sure the whole place was dialed in for a full-blown party šŸ» You guys are the real MVPs.

And to everyone who came out and gave it everything you had—singing, dancing, rocking with us all night—you’re the reason we do this.

Until next time… let’s do it even bigger! 🤘

News Team 4 Update:

Sources confirm OneSixtyOne will storm The Rack BBQ tomorrow night with what experts describe as ā€œdangerously high levels of rock.ā€

Eyewitnesses from February’s show report:
• Guitar solos that smell of rich mahogany
• Bass lines that are smoother than yazz flute.
• A crowd yelling ā€œLOUD NOISES!ā€
• Glass mugs of emotion
• Some even say it escalates quickly.

Local scientists, with many leather bound books, are calling this event kind of a big deal.

That’s gonna do it for all of us here at Channel 4 News. You stay classy, Carrabassett Valley. I’m Ron Burgundy?

Hey, OneSixtyOners!!!! We are just 7 days away until we are back filling the mountain air with our smooth, fast, handsome rock…and country…and pop…and disco…whatever keeps the hips shaking, heads banging, devil horns flashing, beer flowng, and good times rolling! Don’t miss out!

News: Local Legends go the distance, and travel 100 miles to blow the roof off the Rack and melt faces! (OneSixtyOne covering The Distance by Cake)

And we’re hauling that energy straight to The Rack, again, for a full-blown Shamrock ’n Roll throwdown…loud, rowdy, MAYHEM!

Kick off St. Patty’s weekend with local legends (according to respected music journalist Kurt Loder… don’t fact-check that!) OneSixtyOne, and The Rack BBQ!!

Green beer will flow. Guitars will scream. The dance floor will not survive.

ā€œI’m Kurt Loder, and this is MTV News.

High on a frozen mountainside—somewhere between poor judgment and lift served confidence, a lone skier has declared war on subtlety.

Clad in colors loud enough to be seen from space, the individual was spotted barreling downhill at unsafe speeds, one hand gripping a flagpole, the other flashing the universal sign for ā€œthis seemed like a good idea at the time.ā€

The flag itself carried a message. Not political. Not spiritual. Just inevitable.

Local legends.
161.
@ The Rack. March 14th.

Ski patrol confirmed the skier was not lost, injured, or confused.

ā€œHe knew exactly what he was doing,ā€ one patroller said. ā€œThat’s the troubling part.ā€

As for 161, the band at the center of this alpine act of marketing chaos, sources describe them as local legends—a phrase that here means loud, persistent, and somehow still standing.

No injuries were reported.
Several egos were bruised.
And at least one mountain learned it cannot outrun rock and roll.

I’m Kurt Loder.
And this… was never about skiing. šŸŽæšŸ¤˜ā€

Not really, Kurt Loder, but in his style.
