As an extension of the work currently executed by the Maryland Book Bank, the Ravens Bookmobile will deliver new and gently-used books to children living in under-resourced communities who may not otherwise have access to these resources. All books on the Bookmobile will be sorted according to grade level, so that students will have the opportunity to select books of their choice, with the hope of increasing interest and commitment to reading.
The Bookmobile continues the Ravens' long-standing commitment to supporting education and literacy. Last year, the Ravens unveiled a school library restoration at Charles Carroll Barrister Elementary #34 totaling over $200,000 in renovations. In addition to the more than $100,000 investment the Ravens made in the Bookmobile, the team also committed $25,000 to the Maryland Book Bank for upkeep and maintenance of the vehicle.

QB Lamar Jackson
Ravens General Manager Eric DeCosta is confident that he can reach a contract extension with Lamar Jackson, who has been a "very engaged" participant.
Just like the last round of negotiations three years ago, DeCosta and Jackson have an agreement not to divulge details of negotiations between the two sides.
But the Ravens general manager was optimistic when speaking with reporters Tuesday at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
"I have spoken with Lamar about a lot of different things over the last month," DeCosta said. "He's been very engaged. As I said, he was a big value to us in the coaching search. But we'll continue those conversations moving forward.

Head Coach Jesse Minter (left) & QB Lamar Jackson (right)

The Ravens build their offense around Lamar Jackson, and part of being a coach is building relationships.
Head Coach Jesse Minter isn't surprised that people are asking about his offseason interactions with Baltimore's two-time MVP quarterback. Jackson played his first eight seasons under John Harbaugh, and now there's a new head coach-quarterback dynamic as Baltimore looks ahead to the 2026 season.
The Ravens also have a new Offensive Coordinator, Declan Doyle, and new Quarterbacks Coach, Israel Woolfork, who are eager to work with Jackson.
Minter won't give play-by-play on exactly what he and Jackson have discussed in recent weeks. However, Minter described their interactions as positive and productive, as the bond between them continues to grow.
keep most of that private, but we've had a good amount of conversations," Minter said at the NFL Combine. "Relationships are built over time, they're built through communication, they're built through being honest, they're built through being open. Myself, Declan, I think we've done a good job of keeping in contact with him without being overbearing.
He's been a Raven for a long time. It's new for us. It's not new for him. Just trying to build that trust, build that relationship. I think it's gone well, and I'm super-excited to get a chance to work with Lamar.
