TAKE ACTION π£ Big health insurance companies are at it again β proposing yet another rate increase for Marylanders with marketplace plans. This is the third year in a row they've asked for more, and our state has approved the last two. Enough is enough.
The insurance companies asking for the rate increase are raking in millions or billions in profits while we face an affordability crisis. Nobody should have to choose between healthcare coverage and other increasingly expensive basic necessities like groceries and rent.
The Maryland health insurance administration is accepting public comments on the proposed rate increase through Friday (7/17). Send a message NOW telling them to reject big insurers' proposed rate increase: https://econaction.salsalabs.org/Stophealthinsurancehikes

Marylanders are already struggling under an affordability crisis - increases like this to their health care premiums are unsustainable. We are working hard to build the record against these hikes - through research, written comments, and testifying. Stay tuned for ways you can take action!
