Did you know The United Methodist Church has a new vision statement? We are called to “form disciples of Jesus Christ who, empowered by the Holy Spirit, love boldly, serve joyfully, and lead courageously in local communities and worldwide connections.”

This summer, we are joining other United Methodist Churches in the Baltimore-Washington and Peninsula-Delaware Conferences in exploring our charge to “love boldly” through the lens of our baptismal vows. This new worship series, “Rooted in Christ: Love Boldly” kicked off this past Sunday and will last until Sunday, August 9. Join us on the journey. You are welcome here! 🌈🏳️‍⚧️

On Sunday, June 21 at 10 a.m., we will gather to celebrate the fathers and father figures in our lives: past, present, and future and we will grieve those fathers and father figures now lost to us and those that never were. Join us on the journey! You are welcome here. 🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Hey Hampden! 👋🏻 You looked great on Saturday at the Hampden Highlights Festival! 🦩🌈 And we had a blast meeting so many of you and handing out bottled water as part of the mandate Jesus gives us in Matthew 25:35, “I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink.” We are an inclusive church that strives to practice what we preach. If you remember us as the “rainbow church” or the “church that gives away free water,” then we are succeeding in our mission. We can’t wait to see you next year — or at any one of our upcoming community events in the meantime! ❤️
