I’m in the middle of a kitchen reno. I observed a few soft spots in the floor. Upon further inspection there is 3 layers of subfloor to cover the rot! Down to the joist it goes! Some things you can’t see but I can’t cover a rotted sub floor and sleep at night. It will make me lose money on this job but I can’t let it go.
