The most difficult part about writing for me is editing. Once characters are in your head, they are part of your life until their story is told to their satisfaction. Sometimes that means you see their day-to-day lives and you want to tell their entire story. Unfortunately, a novel needs to move toward an end and once in a while a really great scene has to be set aside for the sake of pacing.
This deleted scene landed toward the beginning third of Fate’s Calling.
