Come one come all to Little Italy Baltimore.The Feast of St Anthony, a 3-day street festival includes delicious Italian food and desserts, vino and Italian/domestic beer, live music, booths packed with game wheels, vendor market, kids activities, and more!
This historic festival started in 1904 by the residents of Little Italy during the Great Fire in Baltimore. As the fire was approaching Little Italy, the residents took the statue of the patron saint of Italians from St. Leo church and processed to the edge of the Jones Falls waterfront where they placed the statue and prayed .The fire didn’t make it past, and the parishioners of St. Leo made a solemn vow: if their homes and church were spared from the fire, they would hold a yearly festival in honor of Saint Anthony. The festival opens Friday 5/29/. The Monaldi Brothers and Family Band will preform Saturday May 30th, 3pm to 7pm and Sunday May 31st, 11am to 2:30pm.
