My mom was always flummoxed by people wanting to take lessons (not just from me, but in general). It’s not all about being a professional singer. It’s about finding your voice, beyond the stage.

Some students leave your studio with stronger high notes.

Some leave with confidence to speak in class.
To audition.
To make friends.
To take up space.
To say yes...or no.

Some leave knowing how to handle nerves.
How to practice something difficult.
How to keep going after mistakes.
How to breathe through hard moments.

Some leave with memories of singing with you after a difficult school day.
Some leave remembering that your studio was the one place they felt safe to be fully themselves.

Voice lessons were never just about singing.

And even if a student only stays for one season, they carry pieces of your teaching with them for the rest of their lives. 💗💗💗
