Last semester had me deep in my Mass Communications bag — planning my advertising campaign like the organized creative I am. Sticky notes everywhere, cute little fruit stickers cheering me on, and a whole B6 spread full of strategy, structure, and my very real handwriting.
I love showing this part of the process because this is how I learn best:
A little color, a little chaos, and a whole lot of intention.
It’s my reminder that planning doesn’t have to be sterile or rigid — your system should look like you, move like you, and honor your energy every step of the way.
And now, here we are…

I’m stepping into this new term in my B6 Stalogy as I continue my journey toward my A.A. in Public Relations + Journalism — ready to write new chapters, meet new ideas, and grow in ways last semester prepared me for.
These spreads are more than aesthetic.
They’re proof that structure + joy can coexist.
That Black and Brown women deserve systems rooted in softness, clarity, and purpose.
That planning is an act of self-trust as much as it is a tool.
So here’s to a new season of studying with intention.
Here’s to projects, papers, and planners that hold space for our brilliance.
Here’s to showing up in ways that feel aligned — not pressured.
We plan like we mean it.
We create systems that fit our real lives.

Morning loves.. it's been about 2 months I've been on this with the loss of my husband, and being hurtled into at 40. So many things have been turned upside down, and I've found myself having to be honest with myself in realizing that I am not the same right now, and that's ok.One of the things that have changed is my . These days less and smaller has been my friend. I'm back to using a in a compact size. It gives me flexibility and freedom... that's what I need right now. Allowing myself the grace to forget, to not know.. slow and steady..
