We are Stephanie and Melanie; Sisters and the team behind Saint Louise Design, an interior design studio based in Austin, Texas.

Interior design is a third career for both of us (more on that later)… and as much as we love beautiful spaces, we are not just here to make things look pretty. We want to know how you live. Your morning rituals, your kids’ homework and evening routines, your go to takeout order, and what your version of a perfect night at home looks like. The magic is in designing spaces that feel as good as they look.

In our mid-twenties, Melanie and I spent a month in the south of France and came back with… a styling trick. 😉

In Grasse, we fell in love with the ritual of scent and how parfumeurs protect their products under glass, elevated in the simplest, most intentional way.

We didn’t realize it then, but it stuck.

Now we’re the people putting candles under cloches like they’re priceless objects. And honestly… they kind of are.

Because even a small detail can shift the entire feeling of a space.

The concept for this Westlake kitchen remodel was simple from the start: Texas, but make it timeless.
