“Naps are for suckers,” Bean said when I asked her via FaceTime tonight if she took one today since she stayed home from school with a bad cold.

“Ha!” I said. “Now I know you are still little despite being a teenager because you’re not fully grown up until you know how great a quick nap can be.”

She remained as dubious as any other 13 year old would—I could feel it 4000 miles away.
