❤️I just realized that it was 6 years ago that we appeared at the Grammy museum in Los Angeles for a performance and interview .We also did a Q and A with the audience. It was a great experience for us and we thank the Grammy museum for inviting us !

I was driving down Highway 183 headed south toward Gonzales early in the morning about 12 years ago when I saw the sign for Palmetto State Park and thought of this house, which is in Ottine, the tiny community next to the park. I debated whether I should take the time to venture off the highway to go and photograph it and decided to do it, reaching the house about 1/2 hour after sunrise under overcast skies. Locals call it the Zedler house. Built in 1907, it's a great example of early-20th-century, Central-Texas vernacular/Queen-Anne-ish wood framing with a wraparound porch and turned posts.
