Big Loser

when i woke up after my wreck, after being on the surgery table for over 5 hours, they told me i broke my spine. i couldn’t feel my entire left leg, and i couldn’t move any part of that leg.

the doctor then told me that i would probably never walk again. the break was 3 inches away from full paralysis. i can’t describe the feeling of hearing that news. i can’t describe the amount of pain i was in. but not even 3 months later, i’m already walking again.

i cry tears of joy and gratitude pretty much everyday now. i don’t understand how i am able to walk again. life has a way of breaking you down just to build you back up again. i am so incredibly grateful for what this experience has taught me. never give up, never surrender 🤘🏻
