hi there friends. i’m rachel. i am an author, creator, nurse, and mama among many other things. i just wanted to say hi and tell you that 2020 sure has been an ass kicker. and as much as we resisted, it has given us time to reflect, pivot, and sit still.
nurse tribe has done just that. this is not a post to tell you that good things are coming or that i have an exciting new announcement. frankly, this is a post to tell you that it’s okay to turn it off. contemplate where you’ve been. and just figure out what the hell you want for dinner.
you don’t have to decide what you’re going to do tomorrow or the next year. just show up. be present. try to live in this moment. and if you need to escape every now and then, that’s okay too. let the light in when you can, but also know it’s okay to close the door and pull the covers over your head if you need that too. ❤️
