Don’t be the person that ignores the homeless person you see on the street corner everyday. What you may see as a small gesture can make a tremendous impact for someone else.

Homelessness doesn’t just occur in the United States. It takes place all over the world. It really became prominent internationally after World War 2, seeing as hundreds of families were left displaced and without homes. But, a HUGE factor in international homelessness is the world’s economy. As the global population is increasing, so are are unemployment rates. The United Nations has also declared housing as a right and is hoping to put an end to homelessness internationally by the year 2030. Another organization working to fight against homelessness is DePaul International: Institute of Global Homelessness, based in Chicago. I’ll link their website in the comments, so that you all can check out them and their work.
