Each year, the recognizes civil engineers and students who have demonstrated exceptional service, leadership, and professional achievement across the state. Nominations are now open for the following awards:

Government Civil Engineer Award
John A. Focht Jr. Citizen Engineer Award
History & Heritage Award
Lifetime Service Award
Young Civil Engineer Award
Outstanding Student Civil Engineering Award
Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award

These awards are presented annually at the Texas Civil Engineering Conference (CECON) and represent the highest recognition the Texas Section bestows upon its members and community.

If you know a colleague, student, or faculty member whose contributions merit recognition, we encourage you to submit a nomination. The deadline to nominate is May 15, 2026!
