Welsh indie-rock outfit The Royston Club made the most of their opening slot at Austin’s Moody Center on Monday night, delivering a tight, energetic set that quickly won over early arrivals. Supporting Louis Tomlinson, the band brought infectious guitar hooks, driving rhythms, and plenty of youthful swagger to the massive arena stage. Their blend of indie rock and Britpop influences translated well in the venue, with standout moments showcasing why they’re rapidly becoming one of the UK’s most promising young bands. Even in a short set, The Royston Club left a strong impression and likely gained more than a few new Texas fans by night’s end.
