You will experience—hear, see, smell—a version of reality that is different from what other people are experiencing.

It doesn’t just seem real—it is real to you in that moment. Conversations are changed, words can sound completely different, and situations can take on meanings that others don’t perceive at all.

For example, you might clearly hear and see someone say something disrespectful about you, while everyone else heard something neutral. That difference isn’t imagined in a casual sense—it’s a genuine experience happening in your perception.

Because of that, reactions come from a real place. But to everyone else, it can look like you’re responding to something that didn’t happen, which creates confusion and misunderstanding.
