Thank you to Caroline Drew at Austin Chronicle for the lovely write up and interview, so eloquently relayed! RADIO/EAST will have chairs and heaters set up and we will transform this venue into Lynch Church for The Spirit Lamp on what would have been David's 80th birthday. This is a theatrical event that started at Cannes Film Festival at a tribute for David last year and has evolved into a music devotional experience for Lynch lovers. After the show festivities like costume contest(bring it!), Lynch themed photo booth, tattoos, more music and good feelings and celebrating this marvelous man together. The Spirit Lamp in Paris. First date on our fall EU tour. The flame was lit here. A threshold was crossed. Months of organization, preparation, visualization, then it’s time take a leap and see if the parachute opens. You may not get what you think you want, but soon you understand it’s exactly what it needed to be.

Pictured here with the co-creator of The Spirit Lamp, experimental filmmaker David Gatten, and my longtime musical partner Christopher Smart. Two of the most intelligent and most creative humans I know. We took this adventure together. It’s been a helluva year and I almost thought I retired, but thanks to these two I feel like I’m just getting started again. !!!

Special shout out to this dress. Nima Shiraz designed it for me and hand glued thousands of teeny tiny crystals to it.
I wore it for the Twin Peaks: The Return premiere in 2017. Then years later I crawled on all fours in a forest by a bonfire in it for Cosmic Crown. I wore it for the concert film of The Spirit Lamp and then she was barely hanging on for this show. I love this dress so much but she’s been hoisting my ta tas for 8 years now and I think she’s ready to rest and live in a museum!
