Chess Club at UT

This past Monday we hosted our first blitz tournament of the semester and had a great turnout of over 20 participants! Players competed in 5 rounds of 3+2 blitz games and Justin Trey won the event with a perfect score of 5 - 0!

The tournament will happen next Monday 6PM during normal meeting time at Dobie Mall. All the information is in the google form and if you have any questions please DM us. Also, please only register if you are 100% going to be available, last minute dropouts cause the organization of the event to be slower as we try to make first round pairings before 6, and when people drop out changing the pairings can be quite time consuming.
