TOMORROW is the big day!

Join us for the 20th Annual Unity Walk and the 9th Annual Kids Fest ATX on Saturday, April 26th!We’ll meet at Webb Middle School at 9 AM (600 E. St. Johns Ave) and kick off the 1.2 mile walk to Northeast Early College High School at 9:30 AM.

After the walk, stick around for Kids Fest from 10 AM–1 PM — free books, food boxes, face painting, pony rides, climbing wall, and so much more!Let’s celebrate our community, stand up for our schools, and have some serious fun!

Bring the whole family for a day of learning, laughter, and connection!

HB2 (school funding) and HB3/SB2 (private school vouchers) are hitting the House floor this Wednesday—and we need YOU at the Capitol!

We’re joining with other groups to flood the building with Save Texas Schools supporters. We’ll be going office to office and packing the House gallery to say:

YES to $1,300 more per student.
NO to private school vouchers.

Wear your STS shirt (or any pro-public ed tee), bring your posters, and start gathering at the Capitol at 8:30am. Debate kicks off at 10am and could go all day.

Need a break? We’ve got pizza, snacks & drinks at First United Methodist Church (1201 Lavaca St., just one block away). Let’s show up big for Texas students!
