I stand with Governor Abbott to secure and safeguard our southern border. We live in a time where Texas has to pitch in where the Biden Administration has failed. The inaction of the Biden administration has placed the responsibility to solve this crisis squarely upon the shoulders of Texas. We will continue to need strong leadership to protect our border and I am proud of the work we did in the Texas House by passing critical and much needed legislation and securing an additional $5.1 Billion towards border security.

I am proud to have helped deliver this historic property tax relief to House District 133 and all Texans. See my statement below.

Today we remember the bravery and sacrifice of the Allied forces on D-Day, 79 years ago. As I reflect on my D-Day visit to Normandy a few years back, I am grateful for the opportunity to have paid my respects in person to so many of those who fought for our freedom.

As we honor the memory of those who fought and died on D-Day, may we continue to stand together in the pursuit of freedom over tyranny.
