BANANA CHERRY SMOOTHIE
Ingredients
▢½ Cup Milk
▢1 Cup Frozen Pitted Cherries
▢1 Large Banana
▢¼ Cup Yogurt
▢1 Teaspoon Almond Extract, Optional
Instructions
Place the milk, frozen cherries, banana, yogurt, and almond extract into a blender.
Place the lid on the blender. Pulse and blend the ingredients for 1-2 minutes, until smooth. Serve immediately.
Notes
NOTE: Any kind of milk and/or yogurt will work for this recipe.
NOTE: Cooking time listed is blending time.
NOTE: This recipe can easily be doubled, tripled, etc.

Cardamom Avocado & Blueberry Smoothie
Ingredients
½ avocado
1 frozen banana
1 cup (240 mL) unsweetened oat milk*
½ cup (120 mL) unsweetened soy yogurt*
1 cup (150 g) frozen blueberries**
½ cup (75 g) frozen pineapple chunks
2 cardamom pods, seeds only (optional)
½ tsp pure vanilla extract
⅛ tsp ground cinnamon
Optional garnish
fresh blueberries
fresh mint leaves
h**p seeds
unsweetened shredded coconut
Directions
Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
Pour the smoothie in tall glasses and top with desired garnish. Enjoy!
Notes
* Nutrition tip: aim to use plant-based yogurt and milk that are fortified with calcium.
** We used frozen wild blueberries, which we've found gives a more vibrant purple colour once blended.
Storage
Smoothies are best enjoyed immediately.
The smoothie can be stored in an air-tight jar for up to 2 days.
