I met Zell at his Poet Laureate Inauguration in Austin. His poems were moviiing. Convicted. Authentic. Skilled.
We later did a panel together about the arts in Austin with and I floated the idea of a joint show. This is the result: a show called The Love Supreme—love in it’s many facets.

I’ve been playing keys and singing a lot more over the last 2 years—private parties, weddings, hotels. It’s been energizing— keeps me engaged with the music and helps me write new songs.

It’s the 4th but I’m still thinking about Juneteenth! Thanks to for bringing me on for the roadshow in Austin and Houston. Powerful film—grateful my music was a part of it.
