3 out of 4 of my babies are officially taller than me… before I know it I will be the shorty of the family.

It is all so ironic to me because when I was a young girl I felt HUGE!! To be fair I think I was a head taller than everyone in my grade for YEARS! I have never felt short or small in the slightest. But here I am as a mom of 4 where I will be the smallest one. Feels weird and def never something I thought about. Yet here we are…my kids growing taller than me by the day.

How has my life happened sooooo fast that I am celebrating my 40th?!? It doesn’t seem real!

As a young girl I was always so scared to look, feel, and act old. 40 was OLD and looked like it too. I’m happy to say I beat looking and feeling like I was scared to at 40! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 People constantly ask me how I have so much energy and go,go,go. Meanwhile on zero caffeine 99% of the time and was fighting for my life in a hospital bed 9 months ago. God really said…. Go have energy and don’t quit soooooo here I am—enjoying life, never tired, and living out my small childhood dream(at least on some days… because others I look like a MOM 🤣)one day at a time!

Grateful, thankful, blessed used to be just some cliché words older people said—now I get it. Not a bit cliché, just real. 🫶🏻🫶🏻

The kiddos and I have spent the most time outside of Texas together in Florida. It’s our happy place! The sun, the sand, the views. It’s always an amazing reset.

Cheer comp was great, manatee sightings were soooo cool, and watching the yachts pass by at sunset was one for the books. The alligators, snakes, and insane amount of birds they can keep, but other than that it’s always amazing! 🫶🏻
