Every single year I get asked about how to manage a diet during thanksgiving, and every single year I say the exact same thing..
Just don’t lol
Listen, 1 day of indulging in really good food is simply not going to “ruin your progress” or “throw you off”.
It’s Thanksgiving man. How on Earth could I look any of you in the eyes and say “yeah don’t eat that Mac & cheese and don’t touch that blueberry pie” hahahaha that’s nonsense !!!
Now I’m not saying to go absolutely crazy tomorrow and eat until you literally can’t move lol. Eat until you’re full and have fun !!
Enjoy yourself. Just know that once Thanksgiving is over, you’re gonna get back to your routine with your fitness and your nutrition. All those extra carbs from your meal tomorrow are gonna be fuel for you to go even harder in your next workout 💪🏾
We’re humans bro. Sharing a big meal with your loved ones and sharing the things you’re thankful for is all apart of the human experience. So… go experience it!

🫂 The Power of Accountability 🫂
Finding a community that helps to hold you accountable while you go about tackling your fitness goals makes all the difference. Having people to keep you accountable is important because:
1️⃣. Accountability Keeps You Consistent 📈
You simply are so much more likely to show up to the gym and get your work done when you know that somebody else is counting on you to do so. Whether it be friends, a group class you frequent, or a personal trainer, having people that you share your goals with and work towards with is an excellent way to keep you consistent. And as we know, consistency is the backbone of progress in the gym 💪🏾
2️⃣. Accountability Keeps Morale High 🏆
The truth is that not every single day in the gym is gonna be all sunshine and rainbows. There’s gonna be days where you feel tired and weak. There’s gonna be days where you fail. There’s gonna be days where going to the gym is the absolute last thing on Earth that you want to do. But having people in your corner than can offer support, celebrate all your small wins with you, and remind you of why you started this in the first place helps you push past all of the doubt you may have and WIN 🥇
3️⃣. Accountability Helps You Bounce Back 🦘
We all know that while it can be difficult to build and establish a routine, it is incredibly easy to lose it. Often times people have one bad day or one day where they miss their routine, and that’s all it takes for the entire routine to come crashing down. Having people there to keep you accountable and pick you up when you fall down is a fantastic way to keep you locked in and keep the progress train rolling 🚇
