Flying Longhorns

So wonderful to see these great photos from our group of 30 Flying Longhorns currently enjoying the holiday markets along the Rhine River!

We're thrilled to announce our Flying Longhorns Photo Contest! Here are all the details:
We want to see your best photos from past Flying Longhorn trips! Enter our Flying Longhorns Photo Contest for a chance to have your photos featured in the Alcalde! One winner will be selected from each of the below categories and one will be named best overall photo:

Landmarks: Photos of iconic monuments, buildings, and statues.
Wildlife: Photos of animals, sea life, nature, plants, and trees.
Food & Culture: Photos of your favorite meals, drinks, and culinary adventures. The people and culture of the region.
Portrait/Fellow Flying Longhorn: Photos that highlight the people and culture of the region.
Tripp Photo: Photos of our favorite flat Longhorn travel companion.
The winning photos will be featured in the January | February 2021 issue of the Alcalde magazine. In order to be published, a high-resolution image of the photo (at least 300 dpi) will need to be obtained by our editors.



To be eligible, all photo entries must:

Be submitted between September 26 and midnight on November 1
Be shared to our Flying Longhorns Facebook group
Capture a moment from a past Flying Longhorns trip
Include trip name and year, a brief description, location, and date
Be a high-resolution image (at least 3,000 x 2,000 pixels)
Judges: The Flying Longhorns Travel Team; Dorothy Guerrero, VP of Communications; and Matt Wright-Steel, Staff Photographer
