Founded in 1981 as a non-union electrical contracting firm to pe*****te and capitalize on the need for quality electrical contracting services in the commercial construction industry of Los Angeles. From its inception, we have been building upon its reputation as a "relationship" organization by concentrating on the private tenant improvement and ground-up commercial projects with a select list of clients.

The Company emerged in the early 1990's as a major player in the market successfully completing projects ranging from $100,000 to $12,000,000. The Company continued to build its operating and financial strength throughout the 1990's when it was able to capitalize on the "dot-com boom" for electrical contractors, peaking at over 400 employees.

With the Internet crash severely impacting the construction industry, the Company retrenched to our core business and continued to build our market share in commercial, healthcare, hospitality, public works and high rise residential segments. We continue to expand our client base with a list of notable clients while emphasizing its core business model; the repeat customer. The company moved to its present location in 1998 where the facilities have been continually expanded and improved for its increasing operations.

BS/MS in Construction or similar experience plus:

7+ years experience in Electrical or Mechanical Estimating
Experience working at a Electrical or Mechanical Subcontractor
Expertise in one or more forms of electrical construction
Experience with Electrical Estimating Software
Willing to travel locally

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager to join our exciting and dynamic team in the technology industry. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of tax compliance and planning for the company. You will work closely with our finance and teams to ensure that all tax-related matters are handled efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance and planning, including indirect tax, sales and use tax, and Federal & State tax
Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and payments
Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize the company's tax liability
Communicate with external tax advisors and auditors to ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations
Provide guidance and support to finance and teams on tax-related matters
Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and develop strategies to adapt to these changes
Prepare and review tax provisions for financial reporting purposes
Manage tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master's degree preferred
CPA or other relevant professional certification required
3+ years of experience in tax compliance and planning, preferably in the technology industry
Strong knowledge of indirect tax, sales and use tax, and Federal & State tax laws and regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office and tax software
