The wait was worth it for Rusco to find his forever family. He's going to be a brother to fur-sibling S**a who was adopted from True-Blue several months ago, and has an amazing new family that will love and care for him like he deserves. Happy tears!

Available for adoption. Coco is a Border Collie/German Shorthaired Pointer mix female. She needs a home with a fenced yard and an active family. In return, she will bring you lots of love and laughter.

My name is Coco, I am 1 year old. I love to go to the dog park, go for walks and play fetch 💕. I am good with kids and other dogs. I can sit and stay. I have lots of energy and some separation anxiety. As most dogs I bark. I am spayed and just had my 1 year checkup and received all my vaccinations (rabies, DAP, leptospirosis and bordatella) and I have my heart worm pills.
I love my family and my family loves me but my Dad is having bad allergies with me in the house.

Coco has some separation anxiety. She does not like being put in a crate, this makes her anxiety worse. We just put up a gate across the steps in our family room and she does fine. She is house trained and has access to a doggy door that she uses all the time. Coco would love an active family or someone who likes to hike or run. We do have a medium size backyard and she loves to run and play with her toys. We also have a cat that she wants to play with, but the cat can only put up with her for so long.

If you're interested in Coco, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/72727470684162. Coco's rehoming fee is $200.

Reposting with permission from one of our excellent fosters, Laura Birdsill. Fostering a dog in need is such a rewarding experience. This is Laura's story...

One year ago today I decided to take in our first official foster dog. I say official because our princess Julia was technically a foster we failed at because we adopted her after one day back in 2017.
I took in Bingo (who became Tango), an abused dog who needed some love, first. Next was, Sarge ( who became Shiloh) a big fluffy white prince who I nursed back to health. Our third foster was Abby, who was recovering from being a mama after living a sketchy life of foraging for food and necessities. Fourth was Little John (who became Russell), a spitfire little king who came from a hoarding situation and was fiercely protective of me. He went on to find his very own grandma. Fifth was Roxy, a sweet girl who had been found under a house with a litter of puppies she was separated from before being moved around a few times before becoming a True Blue rescue dog. Sixth was our first little puppy. I named her Tia and her adopters kept her name. Seventh was Annie (who became Kira), the first one my husband almost broke his rule of a foster dog not becoming our third permanent dog. Eighth was Riley (who became Finley) a wire haired ' ball of energy' who loved to chew whatever he could and had fun camping with us. We are currently fostering Rusco, such a beautiful boy, who just needs time to find his confidence and learn that there will be people he can trust but is a big goofball.
Some stayed only a few days, some stayed a few weeks. They all found a place in my heart and my heart tears when they leave. Thank you True-Blue Pet Rescue for allowing me to help you while these precious souls find their furever homes and families.

Are you interested in fostering for True-Blue? We are always looking for loving homes for our dogs to transition to their wonderful new lives. Please fill out an application and a coordinator will be in touch! https://form.jotform.com/72664808584166
