Important notices like court summons, collection notices, fines, etc. will rarely come by text or email. Scammers will often use urgency - react immediately or face the consequences - to get victims to react before they have a chance to think it through or talk to someone. Take a breath & take the time to confirm a situation before acting. Look up a phone number (NEVER just call the number that texted you or one listed in the message) & ASK before doing anything.

Great news! Governor Mills recently signed the ”Fair Bill” into law!

I am grateful to my colleagues, on both sides of the aisle and especially Rep. Cooper, for supporting this bill. This is about ensuring that all agricultural fairs, big and small, are able to meet their bottom line and operate smoothly.
