Thank you for not only inviting me to celebrate but for allowing me to be part of it, and for supplying the mood and soundtrack that set the perfect tone. The room felt like a celebration of Black excellence. I am beyond excited to have had the chance to celebrate the birthday of such an amazing friend and community advocate. A great friend, a wonderful father, and the best husband to my best friend. Marlow McIntyre, I looked forward to your party, and it was fantastic—your family and friends were wonderful, too.
