An unexpected surprise of 4 more! And another newbie introduction.

We got an urgent panicked call from our vets office asking if we could help. Their mail lady came in with 2 tiny kittens they estimated to be around 3 weeks old. She found them in the gutter alone and took them to the vet. With how busy they are at the office and not having anyone who could care for them needing such close special care with around the clock feeding, of course we said yes. They would not survive otherwise and we know shelters don’t have the capacity for bottle babies right now. We ran to the vet and off to an appointment feeding them in the car on the way. A little while later, another call. She found 3 more babies and sadly one of them was deceased. So on the way back from my appointment, we headed back to the vet to pick the remaining 2 kittens. From 2 to 4 🫣🫣🫣!!! We knew it was a life or death situation so even though we were waiting to make a few more adoptions before taking more, it was an emergency so gotta do what we gotta do!

So since they are from the mail lady, they got some names to match. The entire litter are boys. They are pretty thin and bony, dehydrated, one has a little gooey eye, and they all have pretty bad fleas and pale gums— flea bite anemia. Their body temperatures were a little low too so we are praying they made it to us in time. They did well with their bottle feeding so that is a good sign.

We also recently took in this little guy named Cosmo who already has a home waiting for him. Well, let’s welcome these babies and please remember to get your cats and any outdoor cats you know of fixed. We can’t keep up and shelters and all rescuers are overwhelmed.!!

P.s.- The irony is Rocky took his first bite of food today so we jumped for joy. My mom thought her overnight feeding duty was over. 😂😂. No rest for the weary!!

THANK YOU!!!! Yayyy! More wonderful items to help the kitties stay chubby and cared for! And cleaning supplies that make us much happier than we should be 😂!! With so many kittens right now ready for homes, they are keeping us busy and flying through supplies. So thank you SOOO MUCH!

Thank you and Dustin for the 2x paper pellets! Thank you Lenrose F for the fancy feast and 6 wipes (woo! lol). Thank you for the litter and container and beautiful carrier in memory of your sweet baby. Another fantastic family turned friends who love their fur babies to the fullest! 🥹🫶 Thank you Anonymous for the gravies and ID/ renal foods! We also had 2 paper towels show up with no name. Thank you if it’s from you ❤️❤️

We also had a few $$ donations to help us with vet bills, spay neuters, vaccines, combo tests, microchips etc. Thank you Sue B for the donation and we hope your daughter and family enjoy your new baby! We also had a donation in honor and memory of Grayson. Grayson was adopted in 2023 from the little rascals litter. He has the most wonderful mommy, grandma and grandpa.. the sweetest family who has become family to us❤️. Everyone loved Grayson so much, and although his time here was short due to HCM, he lived a life cats could only dream of…. And we are so grateful his life was filled with a bounty of love, cuddles, tickles, yummy food, and a warm bed rather than the cold, hot, outside elements, and starvation. We send our love to you Candi, Pat, and Gene and all the kitties who I’m sure miss Grayson too. Thank you for the donation in his memory and your generosity and kind hearts always. ❤️❤️❤️💔💔💔

Tomorrow we have a few babies heading home but we still have lots of adorable kittens needing homes. We love their cuddles and cuteness, but they are ready for a happy send off with families so we can continue our mission to save more. Please thank a minute to share the kittens.
