🚨 IMPORTANT: VERIFY YOUR RECIPIENT’S ADDRESS BEFORE SHIPPING 🚨

‼️‼️ This is a mistake
that leads to delivery issues, and it’s completely preventable with proper address verification before the label is created‼️‼️

As the seller and shipper, it is YOUR responsibility to verify that your recipient’s address is eligible to receive a live animal shipment. Do not simply rely on the address provided by the buyer.

Many reptile purchasers are first-time buyers and may not be familiar with the requirements and restrictions associated with shipping live reptiles. An address that seems correct to them may not actually be suitable for delivery.

Before creating a label, always verify:

✅ The address is complete and accurate
✅ The recipient can legally and safely receive a live animal shipment at that location
✅ The location is eligible for FedEx live animal delivery services
✅ Any Hold at Location request is being sent to an authorized facility

⚠️ UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES can a FedEx live animal shipment be held at a UPS Store.

⚠️ FedEx live animal shipments also cannot be held at FedEx Office retail locations or FedEx Ground facilities.

If a shipment is being held for pickup, it MUST be sent to an authorized FedEx Ship Center that accepts Dangerous Goods shipments, which is the classification used for approved live animal shipments.

Taking a few minutes to verify the destination before shipping can prevent delays, misrouted packages, refused shipments, and unnecessary stress for both the animal and the customer.

When it comes to live animal shipping, never assume—always verify‼️‼️‼️
