SHOW YOUR LOVE! A super funky birthday to the legendary Sonny T. He's an icon and mentor to bass players around the world and Prince loved and respected him dearly. His contributions to the NPG world are immeasurable. Name that favorite Sonny T track!
By the way, it is CONFIRMED that THIS is his birthday (Thank You Michael Bland). A.I. has him being born in August of 1913 (confusing him with keyboardist Sonny Thompson who passed away years ago). And not only is it Sonny's birthday, but his wife's also. So a double duty celebration!

In a side game. I have a handful of special clients that I tech out their drum rigs for at my studio live room when they want to improve or dial in their touring or recording rigs. I’ve known my nephew Geoff for years and he’s making some real moves in his game. After he left I made this loop on his kit after he dropped it off to prepare for a tour as MD for the first time.
