I'm so excited I cannot contain myself! I just hung up from a call with the John Maxwell Team, announcing the new certification as a JMT Member, which is to become Maxwell Method of DISC Certified Behavioral Analysis Trainer and Consultant!

What does that mean, you might ask?! Well, if you've ever heard of the DISC profile...John Maxwell's Team has developed a certification that allows us to train and consult on this type of personality/behavior profile.

This is an AMAZING tool that increases individual, team, and organizational self-awareness, almost immediately improves teamwork, and helps significantly with communication and conflict resolution.

In just a few short months - I will be able to administer the test, facilitate a session for you, and coach/consult individuals, teams and orgs on how to use this to maximize results within your organization! I have loved studying personalities and behaviors, as it relates to teamwork and leadership, since I started in leadership at Macy's over 20 years ago...and am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to finally have a certification that I can help others learn the VALUE of this type of information.

Trust is absolutely essential in leadership in order to achieve the results that the team/organization has the potential to achieve. Trust is often misunderstood or goes unnoticed by a leader where actions and words are not building trust amongst the leader and the team. Leaders typically think about which team members THEY can trust to get the job done, but rarely reflect back to identify which team members may not have full trust in them.
