Tau Alpha Chi is a professional organization established to promote scholastic and professional excellence in the field of taxation. Founded in 1983 at Georgia State University, Tau Alpha Chi has initiated over 2,000 members.

Membership is open to undergraduate, graduate, and law students with a common interest in the area of taxation.
