Today, the African American Credit Union Coalition with a matching donation from ACU donated $2,000 to Wilderness Works to help further their mission to provide disadvantaged children a safe and enriching alternative activities that last a lifetime.

Through year-round programs, Wilderness Works helps children practice skills that develop critical thinking, coping techniques, and resiliency. As campers clear the ground to pitch tents, cast rods to catch fish, and enjoy swimming in the lake, they also learn to build trust in their peers and leaders and uncover the power of collaboration.

Join us in giving a big thank you to the African-American Credit Union Coalition (AACUC) for their generous donation, matched by ACU, to Wilderness Works!

This event brought the community together to recognize and thank the brave men and women who have served, and continue to serve, our country. We were inspired by keynote speaker Dr. Tom Clark, U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major (Ret.), whose message of gratitude and service was a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by our military members and their families.
