On this day 8 years ago Jack and his family moved to America 🇬🇧
.. and now I get to call him my husband, while also gaining the most wonderful godparents ever.

Thanks for trading crumpets for English muffins, country roads for 6-lane highways, and The Queen for (well, let’s face it— no one can replace her) and your sweet family of 3 for a now family of 4.

At first, I think I procrastinated editing the rest of my photos from Italy because it felt too heavy a task with everything this country has experienced the past couple of weeks. But then, I realized it my duty, my honor, to showcase the beauty of a country who is enduring so much suffering as of late. May we never stop sharing the wonder that is Italy, the most beautiful country in the world. They need it now more than ever.

I've been in Padua, Italy for exactly one week now and I feel like I could write a whole book about what I have learned and experienced these past 7 days. I am so grateful for this city and the people who have shared both their home and their way of life with me. I love this country. Every day is filled with beautiful unconventionality, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
