Last night I had the honor of being invited to speak at the Forsyth County Democrats monthly meeting, and it was really beautiful.
If you know, you know, but if you don’t - Forsyth County has a history. A painful one. And the people who have been building Democratic infrastructure out there have done it in the face of real opposition, real hostility, sometimes real danger. To see how far they’ve come, the candidates they’re running, it gives me so much hope for Georgia’s future.
I got to meet incredible people, including some amazing candidates I had only known from social media, and they are even better in person! A big group of us ended up at Taco Mac afterwards breaking bread and fellowshipping. & I needed that.
This work can really wear you down but nights like last night remind me why we do it.
Only God knows all the struggles I’ve had to go through, but against all odds He made a way and we are in the runoff! June 16th is coming fast. If you believe in what we are building, please share this post and donate at the link in my bio. It all adds up and we all have a part to play.

And let me be real with you about why this one matters so much.
The primary IS the election for two Georgia Supreme Court seats. There is no general election for them in November. Jen Jordan and Miracle Rankin are on the ballot, and this is your only shot to vote for them.
I’m also running for Georgia Labor Commissioner, and I need your vote too. Workers across this country are literally burning down warehouses because conditions have gotten that bad. Georgia doesn’t have a single investigator enforcing our labor laws. Not one. That tells you everything you need to know about how seriously this office has been taking its job.
We can change that. But only if you show up.
